Jane Duke is a watercolour artist and printmaker who depicts traditional subjects, including portraits, in a contemporary style.  Her work has been bought and commissioned by collectors both in the UK and abroad.  Click here to read some customer feedback.

Through this site you can find out about commissioning a portrait in watercolour and see  original paintings and prints available for purchase direct from the artist. The demonstrations section shows the step-by-step stages that bring a painting to life.

Based in Yorkshire in the North of England, Jane exhibits her work in and around her home city of York.  Visit the events page for more information.
 

Watercolour Workshops

Jane holds watercolour classes near her home in York. Friendly, informal tuition in small groups. The workshops page has full details.  Jane is a Professional Associate of the SAA (the Society for All Artists).
