This highly complex and detailed nine layer reduction linocut print shows a patch of woodland carpeted with bluebells in the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. A trip to see the bluebells there is an unmissable day out for us each May.
The reduction method of printmaking uses just one plate, which is further cut away after each layer is printed, so there is no going back and the print cannot be repeated. There are just 9 prints in this edition. As each layer is handprinted, there are variations between each print and no two are absolutely identical. There may be small differences from the images shown, which are of a number of different prints. This print is supplied UNFRAMED AND UNMOUNTED.
