Paper size approx 26 x 36 cm Zerkall printmaking paper
The edition number, title, signature and date are written under the image in pencil.
This reduction linocut print looks up into a canopy of trees in English woodland on a late summer day, with crisp shadows thrown onto white trunks.
The reduction method of printmaking uses just one plate, which is further cut away after each layer is printed, so there is no going back and the print cannot be repeated. There are just 7 prints in this edition. As each layer is handprinted, there are variations between each print and no two are absolutely identical. There may be small differences from the images shown. This print is supplied UNFRAMED AND UNMOUNTED.
