Number 2 of a variable edition of 15 Printed using oil based inks on 210gsm zerkall printmaking paper.
This handpulled collagraph triple print is based on the fossil rich rock which is a feature of the North Yorkshire coastline near my home in England. Each print is made using three separate collagraph plates . Each plate is inked up individually in varying combinations of metallic and earth tone inks before all three are passed through an etching press onto a single piece of paper. The inking is different every time so each of these triptych prints is a unique monoprint. This print is number two of a limited edition of fifteen. The annotation 'VE' after the edition number stands for 'variable edition' and signifies that each print within the edition is different.
Each of the individual images measure 10 x 10 cm (approx 4" x 4") and overall the combined images measure 33 x 10 cm (approx 13" x 4"). The triptych is printed on 41 x 18 cm paper.
Each print is numbered, titled, signed and dated in pencil under the images.
Please note the print is supplied unframed for safe shipping.
A framed print from this edition is available for personal collection or delivery within the York area for a small fee. Please get in touch for details and price.
