Unless specified otherwise these terms apply both to residential painting holidays and
non-residential workshops.
Payments
Failure to make payments by the due dates will be regarded as
notice of cancellation.
Cancellation by you Painting Holidays:
Please note that without exception no monies can be refunded
after their due dates. You are strongly advised to ensure you have adequate
cancellation insurance. Non-residential Workshops: Bookings are non-refundable. If you
cancel more than three weeks before the workshop you will be offered a transfer
to a later workshop (where available) or a credit voucher. In the case of
cancellation less than three weeks before the workshop, a transfer or credit may
be offered but only if the empty place is resold to a new participant.
Cancellation by us
In the highly unlikely event of the
advertised tutor being prevented from attending, we reserve the right either to substitute an appropriate
alternative tutor or to continue with the accommodation without tuition,
refunding the tuition element of the fees (applies to painting holidays only) or to cancel the workshop/holiday and
refund all fees.
All events are priced on the assumption of a certain level of
attendance. If insufficient confirmed bookings to run the event have been
made:
1) at the time the final payment is due (painting holidays)
2) three weeks prior to the event (non-residential workshops)
then we reserve the right to cancel the event and refund all payments.
Please note that no payment will be made in respect of personal travel
arrangements or consequential losses resulting from cancellation or alteration. As above you are strongly advised to
take out independent travel insurance.
Provisional bookings
Provisional bookings made without payment will be held for one week for UK
applicants or two weeks for overseas applicants. Please ensure your
deposit payment (painting holidays) or full payment (day workshops) is received within this time or the place will be made
re-available to new enquirers. Bookings will not be confirmed until
receipt of your booking form and payment.
Online bookings Workshops and holidays are offered subject to availability and when an event is
full it will normally be removed from the online booking facility within 24
hours. In the unlikely event that an online booking is made for an event which is already fully booked, you will be notified as soon as possible
and your PayPal payment will be refunded in full.
Age
Painting holidays and workshops are available to over 16s only.
Overseas participants If you are travelling from outside the United Kingdom you will need a valid
national passport (or acceptable equivalent) to enter the country. Please check with the British
Consulate in your home country to see if you also require a visa or visit the
UK Border Agency website
for up to date advice.
