Two good friends, Mark Azopardi and Tony
Broadbent, joined me for a very enjoyable show in December 2007.
The three of us have very different styles and many of the visitors to the
exhibition commented on how well
our work complemented and contrasted with each other, making for an interesting
and lively show.
We couldn't have picked a worse weekend in
terms of weather! The Preview Night was held in a howling gale with driving
rain,
so it made the excellent attendance even more appreciated. The hardy souls
who braved the dark and the wet were
greeted with mulled wine and mince pies and a lovely warm atmosphere.
I managed to take some photos in the first
quarter of an hour before the room got really crowded but soon my hands became
too full with trays of mulled wine and catalogues! Later photos were taken
first thing on Sunday morning when there
was a chance to see the room set-up.
